DGS control panels

The standard control panel consists of three main lines:

1)The sealing gas line (process gas), in which the sealing gas is prepared to the required operating parameters in terms of purity and pressure / flow rate of the sealing gas. The function of the sealing gas line is to exclude the ingress of untreated process gas from the compressor cavity to the DGS.

2) The line of primary leaks, in which the operability of the friction pairs of the first and second SGU stages is monitored. The function of the primary leak line is to monitor the operability of the DGS.

3) The separating gas line (air or nitrogen), in which the separating gas is prepared to the required operating parameters in terms of purity and pressure / flow rate of the separating gas supplied to the DGS. The function of the separating gas line is to exclude the ingress of oil vapors from the compressor bearings to the DGS, excluding the formation of an explosive gas concentration in the secondary leak line.

If necessary or based on the technical requirements for the equipment, the control panel of the DGS can be resupplied with:

• gas heater
• pre-filtration / gas separation system (both sealing and separating)
• etc. at the Customer's request./li>
